pear shaped

Pears are so photogenic! See:

My lunch was that and, less photogenically but equally deliciously, this:

Along with the gorgey pear, that would be, for those keeping score, beet soup and pepita muffin.

Oooh, your pear art is so gorgeous indeed! I love the idea of pepita muffins, too!

Thank you so much for your incredibly sweet comment about the cornbread... You made my day! :-)

who knew one could position a pear so artistically? the muffin would be a tasty thing to combine with lovely fruit, and the beet soup looks great too. a more fantastically-colored food i do not know. :)

I sure love pears in the winter time! And beet soup? nice and colorful :) glad your midterms are over, I'm so looking forward to the end of the semester, but I'm lagging on my projects terribly!

Oh, pb and co booth?? I am SO jealous! I'm glad you liked the chili mango and peanut butter idea. It was so good! I would highly suggest you try it. I was thinking a good sub if you don't have the chili mangoes would be an apricot preserve sprinkled with chili powder.
