sweet note

Eesh my camera appears to be broken.

Is there some sort of college food blogger scholarship fund?

On a happier note, NYC dessert at the lovely bar at Savoy. Apologies for the flash. I cannot win!


In their words: sticky toffee pudding: applesauce, toffee, and vanilla ice cream. Luuuuuuuuusciously soft and sweet. The apples were lovely!


In their words: brandied fig& pecan tart: frozen honey greek yogurt and milk chocolate sauce. This is pecan pie with a PhD. I have to say, though, I think the sauce was DARK, dare I say BITTERSWEET chocolate, and an absolute revelation.

Ooh. I walk by this restaurant all the time - I love that neighborhood - but I've never gone in. But perhaps you've convinced me.
