Orange yogurt bowl #1!

Um… Leels… that is not orange….

No, no, it is! I swear! See?!

This was a spontaneous breakfast, based on how frickin’ good the pumpkin was in my pasta last night.

Base: TJ’s plain nonfat Euro yog, pumpkin, sprinkling of sugar.

Grains: Cheerios

Fruit: dried cranberries

Protein/healthy fat: pecans

Garnish: TJ’s cranapple butter

Fabbity fab! Admittedly not all that orange.

Today’s orange yogurt bowl #2!

TJ’s frozen mango, thawed. More plain nonfat TJ’s Euro. Cinnamon. Slivered almonds. YUM!

I was going with Indian-ish flavors to go with my Indian-ish lunch.

Curry in a hurry!

In a pan on medium: drizzle of veggie oil

Add: minced garlic, minced ginger, sliced onion

Then: minced hot pepper, curry powder, cumin, sprinkling of cinnamon

Veg: 1 potato, micro-baked until soft enough to cube; 1.5 cups ish broccoli (broccoli is not traditional per se, but I had rockin’ mixed vegetable curry at that Indian place in NYC last month and ever since have been obsessed with the idea of broccoli curry!)

Liquidity: canned tomato sauce, water.

Cooked all together for 20 minutes or so til water evaporated, veggies were fully cooked, flavors meshed.

Your curry in a hurry sounds awesome! My curry in a hurry would definitely involve something premade from Trader Joes

Love your yogurt creations! I've been mixing pumpkin with oatmeal lately, but hmm, I have some Oikos in the fridge... :)

Do you mix in the pumpkin straight from the can? I've never tried pumpkin puree on its own before, but you combination looks yummy.
