Feeling motivated, inspired, and moved after seeing an advanced screening of Hunger Hits Home, a documentary about childhood hunger in America that talks about the food insecurity that’s very real for families in our country; the organizations combating it; and the government resources that can and should be mobilized as part of the solution.
I work at a food bank, in a department that feeds kiddos, and it made me feel really really good about what I do and really really motivated to do more.
It airs on the Food Network at 8 on Saturday night and will appear in the month of April and also be available for download at their website. I encourage everyone to check it out!
